To position and effectively brand the unincorporated areas of San Luis Obispo County for tourism promotion, Verdin created six options showing the diversity of the area and this was the selected concept by the CBID Board. The literal representation of rocky coastline, sandy beaches, miles of country roads and the acclaim of the local wine regions all drove the look and feel of this mark.
